People who enter in the Ecuadorian territory for touristic purposes, who don’t plan to stay for a maximum 90 days in a one year period (not calendar), DO NOT NEED ANY VISA. This rule is not applicable to people of the following nationalities, who DO need a visa in every case:

-Afghanistan
-Bangladesh
-China
-Eritrea
-Ethiopia
-Kenya
-Nepal
-Nigeria
-Pakistan
-Somalia

The people who hold a visa have a period equal to one month in order to get registered in the offices aforementioned. For failure to comply with this obligation, they would have to pay a 200 dollars fee:
